2024 Annual Production:
The Sword and the Stoner – DC Tour Show

March 8, 2024 (On Tour in Washington, DC)

This show will take place at the UDC Theater of the Arts at 4200 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008.

Our story begins once upon a time, in a magical medieval kingdom named Prussia, home of Alex Longsword the Third and a Half: The King of Prussia. After being diagnosed with an unknown and incurable illness, Alex sets off on a quest to slay a dragon and become a legend. He is accompanied by Sigmund, a geriatric knight pulled out of retirement for one last quest, and Ashtray, a talking horse who would rather be anywhere else. On their journey, our heroes confront evil wizards, negotiate safe passage through the realm of Snow White’s dwarves, and claim a Sword in a Stone. Will Alex slay the dragon? Is incest really that bad? Is “Bridge Troll” an economically viable job? Find out in Mask and Wig’s 135th Annual Production: The Sword and the Stoner!
