Join us at Platt Performing Arts House (outside of Upper Quad) for an evening of laughter provided by some of Penn’s top comedy groups. Come mingle afterwards if you’re interested in joining – pizza and beverages are on us!

Come to the historic Mask and Wig Clubhouse in Center City to see a performance by our cast and to learn about the theater opportunities here at Penn, with representatives from the University’s theater department, Mask and Wig, and members of Penn’s premier theater groups. After the presentation, freshmen will have an opportunity to talk one on one with upperclassmen who are active in the Penn theater community, to learn more about getting involved in performing on stage, in a band, or in tech behind the scenes. Light snacks, beverages, and entertainment will be provided, along with transportation to Center City, then to the Philadelphia Museum of Art party.

Free Show is put on exclusively for the freshman class, and it’s a favorite tradition to kick off the year. The Cast will make you laugh until you cry, the Band will melt your face, the Crew will dazzle you with its sound and light programming, and the Business Staff will do what it does best: sell out the show. Ask your RA about tickets or send us an email; come ready for a night of comedy, music, and men in drag.
